Fulham boss Slavisa Jokanovic has ruled out allowing Derby loanee Chris Martin to leave the club in January.

The Rams can only recall their man if all three parties agree - that's Fulham, Derby and Martin.

And the Whites boss is in no mood to let the £3.5 million forward, who has found the net in his last two games, return to the iPro Stadium.

According to a Derby Telegraph poll, the vast majority of Derby fans want to see him back at the club but Jokanovic has no interest in their opinion, valuing those of a Fulham persuasion much more.

The Whites boss said: “Chris Martin arrived on transfer deadline day and we don't have any intention to see him leave this season.

“He will stay with us until the end of the season. Our intention was to sign him permanently. I can't go in so deep as to why we didn't.

“We believe he'll be an important for us. I'm not interested in what the Derby fans think. Ask Fulham fans about what is better for us.

“He's going to be us this season and that's it. There isn't any chance that this will change.”
