He had an impressive first start for Fulham on Tuesday night – and Slavisa Jokanovic is expecting Aboubakar Kamara to get even better.

The recent signing from Amiens, who came on as a second half sub in the opening day draw with Norwich, was handed his first start in the Carabao Cup against Wycombe Wanderers.

The 22 year old striker gave the Chairboys back four a torrid time, but 'you ain't seen nothing yet' was Jokanovic's message to Fulham fans.

First start: Aboubakar Kamara in action at Wycombe

“He showed pace and he's a strong man. He needs to learn what we want to do in the way we compete, and we believe he'll be an important player for us in the future,” said the Fulham boss.

“It's six days and one game with us, it's early for him. We believe he can be good for us, and in front of him is many afternoons and nights, and he'll be better than he showed at Wycombe.”
