Fulham have added Tony Khan and controversial statistics man Craig Kline to the board.

The son of chairman Shahid Khan becomes vice Chairman and Director of Football Operations, while Kline is the new Assistant Director of

Football Operations and Director of Statistical Research.

It was the latter's involvement, although boss Slavisa Jokanovic strongly hinted at interference, that saw the head coach take the ordinary step of outing him as the reason for a lack of signings at one point last summer.

All the signs were that Kline wanted to tick boxes on detailed data concerning new faces, and vetoed a number of targets because they failed to fetch the numbers.

Shahid Khan added: “Tony has served the Club quietly but faithfully and extremely well during that time.

"He brings new practices to what we’re doing but not at the expense of what would be considered traditional and proven methods. It’s important to remember there is no industry in the world that is succeeding today by doing things exactly the same way as they did yesterday."
