Dramatic recovery for Oscar

Oscar will travel with the squad up to Burton’s St George's Park ahead of Leicester game.

The Brazil international was withdrawn midway through Sunday’s draw with Arsenal and rushed to hospital with a suspected concussion following a collision with David Ospina.

However, Jose Mourinho has revealed today that the player was discharged yesterday evening and could feature against the Foxes.

"Oscar left the hospital and stayed at home last night. He should be here today,” he said.

“Everybody will travel to Leicester"

However, Mourinho could not confirm whether striker Diego Costa would be fit to return at the King Power Stadium on Wednesday night.

Leicester revival comes as no surprise

Leicester have notched up four straight wins ahead of the visit of Chelsea on Wednesday.

Those vital points have lifted them out of the relegation zone at a crucial stage of the season.

Their improvement in recent weeks has come as no shock to Jose though.

He said: "I was surprised by their position. I played them earlier in the season and I could feel that they were a good team.

“I am not surprised now and I will not be surprised when they keep (stay in) the division.

"They have options for every position. They have to play at home against teams in the same area as they are.

"The game against Chelsea is an extra game. So I think their situation is very good.

"I won the Treble with Esteban Cambiasso. He was part of my Golden Team. He is a player who means a lot to me."

Boring tag is wide of the mark

Chelsea’s goalless draw at Arsenal saw them move within two wins of the Premier League title and Gunners fans weren’t happy with Mourinho’s tactics.

The Blues began the game without a recognised striker before sending on Didier Drogba for the second half at the Emirates.

Frustrated by Chelsea’s ability to grind out a point, Arsenal fans accused the west Londoners of playing boring football to edge closer to the crown.

Mourinho today pointed to statistics to disprove the theory.

"It cannot be true,” he said.

"If we are boring and if the number of goals decides that we have 18 teams that are more boring than us.

"In this criteria then only Man City are more exciting than us. And Chelsea is the second-best team.

"If a good team is someone with more points, more victories and less defeats. We are the best team.

"In any criteria you can find, we are the best team or the second-best team."

Blues are the team of the year

Eden Hazard has been crowned PFA Player of the Year .

The 24-year-old has scored 18 times for the Blues this season to fire Jose Mourinho’s side to within six points of the Premier League title.

It was a great night for the Stamford Bridge club in London as Hazard was also named in the Premier League team of the year alongside five other Blues players.

Branislav Ivanovic, John Terry, Gary Cahill, Nemanja Matic and Diego Costa were also chosen, however Mourinho feels his team could easily have made up the whole XI.

"All of them," Mourinho said when asked which other Chelsea players should have been picked.

"I respect the players.

"The season Fabregas is doing. The quality of his game and him not to be there is strange.

"That team wouldn't win the Premier League. It needs some balance.

"It needs a midfield player and that player is Fabregas."
