Ryan Parsons has left Harrow Borough for personal reasons boss, Dave Anderson confirmed last night.

Former Wycombe defender Parsons looked to have finally solved a problem position for Anderson in the left-back area after first joining on a dual registration from Hemel Hempstead and then signing permanently last month.

However, no sooner was the ink of his signature dry when Parsons was off again to join Southern Central Division playoff chasers Slough Town.

Anderson could not hide his dejection at losing a player who made a big impression in his short stay at Earlsmead.

He said: “I’m desperately disappointed about losing Ryan, but it is all to do with the location of his home.

“He is at a stage now where he wants to have time to go home and see his family and he is five minutes from Slough’s training ground, so it is more about his happiness than anything else.”

With Gary Jones having moved on last month to make room for Parsons, it means Adam Louth is currently the only left in residence at Borough.
