QPR forward Jamie Mackie says that the squad needs to feel settled if they are to have a successful Championship campaign this season.
The former Nottingham Forest man has plenty of change during his time at Loftus Road, but insists that the club are on the right track to bring success back to West London.
He said: "We know our gameplan now. It’s been a bit of a transitional period in the last couple of years for the club and a lot of things have changed off the field.
"Transfer fees and recruitment has had to change. In the past few years we’ve had money to spend but now we’ve got a good squad and a good gameplan.
"I’ve been at the club a long time and i’ve seen so much change, but you need a settled side, a settled club and a settled mentality. The team’s who have that have always done well in this league."
