QPR defender James Perch has hailed his defensive colleagues for the way they've 'pulled together' this season.

The Hoops have had a defensive injury pile-up meaning Ian Holloway has had to use the depth of his squad, something which the 32-year-old says has been effective.

Speaking to GetWestLondon, he said: "The lads who have come in have done really well. Jack Robinson wasn't featuring as much as he'd probably have liked over the last few because he's had terrible injuries, but he's come in and taken his chances really well.

"As for (Alex) Baptiste, he couldn't have come in at a better time really.

"With the injuries we've had he's slotted in nicely and played really well by all accounts. All credit to the lads.

"(Jake) Bidwell has done well going from wing-back to left-back to left centre-half and done what's needed because with three or four defenders out injured the lads have had to really pull together to patch it up, and that's what they've done."

QPR fans have the chance to win tickets to their home game with Brentford on November 27. Full details of the competition can be found by
