Sergi Canos knows he must improve a number of aspects of his game ahead of next season.

The Brentford winger returned to Griffin Park, where he'd had a loan spell from Liverpool in 2015/16, after a difficult six months in Norwich.

The Spaniard scored four goals, setting up a further one, in his 18 games since his return to west London as he gave defenders all sorts of headaches. Five of those came as a substitute.

Improvement is the name of the game and Canos knows he must work on his strength, concentration and defending over the summer.

He said: “I have to get stronger and try and concentrate more on my game and be better at defending and I'm sure that will come.”

The 20-year-old is under contract until 2021 and the club have an option to keep him at the club until the end of the 2022 season.

During Canos' loan spell at Griffin Park the season before, he scored seven goals in 38 appearances, 20 of those coming as a substitute.
