QPR boss Ian Holloway proved that he brings more to the table than just management experience; as he was on hand to guide the Hoops’ team bus onto a road filled with three lanes of traffic.

The West London team were set to leave Hillsborough following their Sky Bet Championship match against Sheffield Wednesday, which they drew 1-1, when the bus driver ran into some trouble.

Choosing to reverse the giant vehicle onto the busy A61 road which runs alongside the stadium, the driver inevitably found visibility a problem, and called on the former Blackpool and Millwall manager to assist, something which Ollie was glad to do.

So as the doors swung open, Holloway made his way out onto the road, politely signalling for the oncoming traffic to give way, as he used hand signals to guide the bus out, before hopping back onboard and heading on their way.

The Hoops have started the season in excellent form, winning two and drawing one of three games under Holloway’s leadership, but it’s always worth knowing that a career as a traffic controller is a real possibility if things did take a downward turn.
