Former QPR striker Kevin Gallen has said the club must be finding it difficult to operate in the transfer market, saying that the priority must be moving players out of Loftus Road before bringing anyone in.

Speaking exclusively to Get West London, he said: "I think we've got over 30 professionals in the squad, so the main thing for QPR is to move some out so we can bring some in.

"That's the difficult part, because at the end of the day you can only play 11. If you've got over 30 pros then you're going to leave 19 disappointed, and that's tough for any manager to keep everyone happy.

"If you can find better players in any position then you get them, but at the end of the day you've got a budget and you have to work around it, and there's only so many you can have.

"It's a difficult one. I don't know what the situation is money-wise, but i'm sure they'd love to get some players out before bringing more in."
