Former Celtic star among SEVEN changes for Brentford's Carabao Cup clash with Norwich City

Debuts handed to Theo Archibald and Chris Mepham at Griffin Park

Manager Dean Smith has rung the changes for tonight's Carabao Cup third round clash with Norwich City this evening.

The Bees host the Canaries at Griffin Park in the third round and Smith will be hoping his men can continue their cup form.

Having beaten AFC Wimbledon and Queens Park Rangers already, Bees fans will be hoping for more of the same and a place in the fourth round come the end of the night.

Smith has utilised his squad for the clash, making seven changes for the visit of Norwich, with Chris Mepham and Theo Archibald handed their full debuts for the club.

Archibald joined the Bees' B team from Scottish giants Celtic in May, while Mepham was just recently handed a new five-year deal at the club and promoted to the first team.

Dan Bentley, Rico Henry, Andreas Bjelland, John Egan, Ryan Woods, Romaine Sawyers and Ollie Watkins dropped out with Luke Daniels, Nico Yennaris, Josh McEachran, Yoann Barbet and Ilias Chatzitheodoridis the others coming in.
