SPACE was the final frontier for Dragons on Sunday - and they made good use of a huge pitch in previously unchartered territory at The Warren.

The wide-open spaces of Yeading FC's former ground were meat and drink to the likes of Frederico Pravettoni and Josh Cooper, with the two front men combining to notch Dragons' first goal in the first-half.

Bishal Limbu was a constant threat down Dragons' left wing, while Mohammed Obbad was a rock at the back to make sure keeper Kamal Mohammed could watch the action from a distance.

The twin pairing of Miles and James Spooner in midfield also got a grip of the game, and it was no surprise when Cooper got past two defenders on the byline before unleashing a shot into the roof of the net.

LONG RANGE belters were the order of the day in the west London derby that saw North Ken edge closer to the title.

They stayed top after Sebastian Philogene clinched the points from a 25-yard effort to equal the earlier Imperial strike - an equally impressive 25-yarder that flew past the keeper.

Philogene's second came direct from a corner, and Liam Clement started the afternoon's scoring by nutmegging the keeper after he had been put through by Mark Meremikwu.

ANDY WILLIAMS kept Rangers on song when he secured the points in the dying seconds on Monday to maintain his team's 100 percent record.

Win number six out of six was on the cards after a goalless first-half at Paddington Recreation Ground gave way to Yarek Irvine's strike with five minutes left.

Williams doubled the advantage, but the team-mate on the end of his mates' banter was Michael Nurse, who got yellow-carded when he let frustration get the better of him.

A SLOW start saw Dragons breathe fire in the second period as they came from 1-0 down to coast home on Sunday.

The moment of truth came just after the restart when Hal Wilkinson tried his luck from the halfway line and saw his mammoth kick sail over the Celtic keeper and into the net.

Given the wonder goal, his team-mates surged forward and Kaies Kargar and Ahmed Joel's brace soon put Dragons in the box seat.
