Feltham's chairman described his side's schedule in the opening weeks of the season as 'crazy'.

There has been no easing into the new season for Combined Counties League clubs, with Feltham playing five games in the first 15 days in Division One.

A Mark Owens brace earned them a 2-1 win over Westfield on Saturday, but the Blues went down 4-2 at Staines Lammas on Monday, despite goals from Eddie Mee and Alan Crane.

Barry said: "It's crazy that players at this level are asked to play so many games this early, and as a result we had four missing on Monday.

"We've played almost a sixth of our games already. If it continued in that manner our season would be over by November!

"I'm seriously thinking about having a word with the league about it. They seem to forget these lads are not professional footballers. We're playing too many games too quick."

Feltham visit Knaphill on Saturday.
