Fulham equalled their best win of the season in front of new boss Slavisa Jokanovic who was served up a treat as Whites beat Rotherham 4-1 - their first victory in nine games.

But as Joka's new team moved up to 18th in the Championship, what did we learn from a better night at the Cottage?

Cauley Woodrow should kick on and give Moussa Dembele stiff competition

Where has Woodrow been? The young striker looked a world beater against Rotherham with a brace of goals. He should have notched a hat-trick, but he's not been in good nick for most of the season.

This time he took his chances and if he does a number on Sheffield Wednesday this Saturday, he must surely give the new manager a headache.

Ross McCormack is worth every penny of the £11m Fulham paid for him

QPR fans rave about Charlie Austin, but Mac in a struggling side has been the one consistent factor as Fulham floundered. He had a near 50 percent hand in all Fulham goals against the Millers as well as scoring his 15th of the season in all competitions.

Fulham hate crosses

No jokes about Whites being like Dracula, please. But the one Rotherham goal was a delivery from the wing. There have been loads so far, and if Jokanovic has a priority - it's to stop goals from similar deliveries, dead balls or otherwise.

Rotherham are poor

You can only beat the side in front of you, as they say. But if they were all like the hapless Millers, Fulham would be top of the table.

Whites won't find it as easy against Sheffield Wednesday on Saturday, but it was a very overdue and welcome three points.

It might be a miracle to dream of the play-offs, but...

...if Joka can weave the same magic he did at Watford, then maybe, just maybe. The Whites are not that bad a side, but they do need better organising at the back and a new dose of confidence.
