ALEX Kacaniklic believes a first home win of the season is just around the corner for Fulham.

The Whites are yet to claim three points at Craven Cottage this term after a defeat to Arsenal and yesterday’s 1-1 draw with West Bromwich Albion.

Gareth McAuley netted a stoppage-time leveller for the Baggies on Saturday afternoon that denied Martin Jol’s side that first win.

But Kacaniklic insists the signs are there that a league victory will come sooner rather than later in SW6, with Cardiff next up at home after a trip to Chelsea.

“We’re disappointed with the result but we’re happy with the way we played,” the midfielder said in the wake of the West Brom stalemate.

“We created a lot of chances and we were unfortunate to draw the game.

“If you saw the game and the way we played you would see it was very positive and encouraging but then again we didn’t get the three points.

“We’re a really good team at home. We showed it today but we just didn’t get the three points.”

A nasty looking injury that saw Bryan Ruiz stretchered off may boost the chances of Ka?anikli? keeping his place in the Whites starting line-up.
