FC Bridge will battle it out for the right to lift the Division One League Cup tonight (Wednesday) at Uxbridge FC’s Honeycroft Stadium.

Bazza Walsh’s boys booked their spot in tonight’s showdown with Manor by fighting back from 2-0 against Hillingdon Town to win 4-2 last week.

Striker Brad Hand, Murray Williamson and Tommy Veal completed an impressive comeback to send Walsh and his team into the game on a high.

"We showed some serious character to come back like that. We were unbelievable after the break and we showed how much we wanted that. Credit to Hillingdon Town, it was a fantastic game. Bring on Wednesday," said a jubilant Walsh.

Having conceded twice early on, the shellshocked Bridge players grabbed a lifeline before the break as

a free kick on the edge of the box by Jack Bigwood was glanced home by Veal to make it 2-1.

And a rousing team talk from manager Walsh galvanised Bridge into arguably the best 45 minute display of the season.

Williamson levelled things up with a superb curler and further strikes from Tully and Hand secured a spot in their second final of the season following last month’s Middlesex County Junior Cup triumph.
