Chelsea are in action against Liverpool tonight

Fixtures (Saturday 3pm unless stated):

  • Chelsea vs Liverpool (Fri 20:00)
  • Hull vs Arsenal
  • Leicester vs Burnley
  • Man City vs Bournemouth
  • West Brom vs West Ham
  • Everton vs Middlesbrough
  • Watford vs Man United (Sun 12:00)
  • Crystal Palace vs Stoke (Sun 14:15)
  • Southampton vs Swansea (Sun 14:15)
  • Tottenham vs Sunderland (16:30)

Key injuries and suspensions:

Chelsea captain John Terry misses tonight's clash with Liverpool with an ankle injury, with deadline-day signing David Luiz set to fill in.

Fellow Premier League title challengers Arsenal have injury worries of their own over Theo Walcott , Aaron Ramsey and Olivier Giroud , while Spurs will once more be without Danny Rose for their game with Sunderland.

Another left-back Pape Souare , the Crystal Palace man, is also sidelined and will be missing for up to six months following a car crash.

Meanwhile, Manchester City striker Sergio Aguero is ruled out through suspension and David Silva is also unlikely to be fit to return to the City starting XI after missing the midweek win over Borussia Monchengladbach in the Champions League.

Manchester United will be without summer signing Henrikh Mkhitaryan , with the Armenian struggling to recover from a thigh injury.

The players you need in your starting XI:

Arsenal star Alexis Sanchez looks a good bet. The Chilean rescued a point for the Gunners in their Champions League opener at PSG during the week and has a good record against Hull City, having scored four times in three games against them during his debut 2014/15 season.

Everton host Middlesbrough at home this weekend - and Romelu Lukaku will have his sights on putting the sword to another north-east outfit after his hat-trick saw off Sunderland last Monday.

Romelu Lukaku will be confident of building on his hat-trick at Sunderland

Riyad Mahrez is another player coming into this weekend's round of fixtures bang in form and he will be confident of adding to his two goals from midweek against Club Brugge against Burnley at the King Power Stadium.

Diego Costa is the top-scoring striker so far with 31 points and will relish playing against a Liverpool defence who have already shipped seven goals this season.

No striker has more points than Diego Costa so far

And the players who shouldn't be in your team:

Paul Pogba has now gone four games without a goal or an assist for Manchester United and Jose Mourinho's side face a trip to a Watford side sure to be buoyed by their 4-2 win at West Ham United last time out.

Everton midfielder Idrissa Gueye has been attracting plenty of headlines following his outstanding performances since moving from Aston Villa, but his assist in the win at Sunderland is likely to be an exception to the rule given he is primarily defensive-minded.

Wildcard options:

Only Michail Antonio (32) has more points than Etienne Capoue (29) so far this season and Manchester United arrive at Watford off the back of two successive defeats - will the Frenchman add to his three goals so far?

Leroy Fer has proven a bargain to Fantasy managers so far this season

Leroy Fer looks like another potential bargain at £6m and has the same number of goals from midfield, including two away from home to date.

The matches in gameweek six:

In gameweek six, champions Leicester City are at head to Manchester United in the early kick-off on Saturday September 24, with another seven games to be played that day.

Chelsea are in action in the last of those eight games, with a 5.30pm meeting with rivals Arsenal in an eagerly-anticipated London derby.
