Portugal are the team to avoid for England in the last-16 of the Euros while Hungary and Iceland are the ones to draw.

We have taken a look back at England’s past records against the teams they could draw in the last-16 of the Euros.

As Group B runners-up, England will play the runners-up of Group F in Nice on Monday.

As it stands that could be any of the teams in Group F - Austria, Hungary, Iceland or Portugal - who will all play their final group game on Wednesday at 17:00 BST.

England’s worst record in terms of beating those teams is against Portugal.

The Three Lions have only won 43 per cent of their matches against the side who knocked them out of both the 2004 Euros and the 2006 World Cup.

However, England have only lost 13% of their games against Cristiano Ronaldo’s side, their second best loss ratio of the sides available to draw.

England’s best loss ratio is with Iceland, a side they have never been beaten by.

Their best win ratio is with Hungary, having beaten them in 68% of the games between the two sides. The last time the Hungarians came out on top against England was in 1962. England have been unbeaten in the last 13 games between the two sides.
