EFL Cup round one draw: Barnet handed home tie with Millwall in repeat of last year's first stage meeting

Barnet will face Millwall in the EFL Cup first round after the draw was made this afternoon.

Last season saw Barnet reach the second round of the competition after they claimed a 2-1 win at The Den after extra time.

John Akinde's penalty put the Bees 1-0 up but Steve Morison's goal levelled the scores for the Lions.

Midway through extra time, Andy Yiadom scored the decisive goal as Barnet progressed to the second round.

The run ended at Molineux as Bright Enobakhare and Sheyi Ojo scored for Kenny Jackett's side. Bira Dembele pulled a goal back 14 minutes from time.

Allen will be hoping to go one round better than last time and reach the third round at least.

The tie will be played in the week beginning August 8.
