DIDIER Drogba promised there's more to come after his match-winning performance against Valencia last night.

The Chelsea striker has not been at his best since recovering from malaria last year, but showed glimpses of his old self as his two-goal blast fired the Blues into the Champions League knock-out stages.

However, the Ivorian insisted he's still not up to full speed.

“No – not yet,” he said. “You will see that I have lost a lot of goals, and I hope this is something that my fitness will help me to improve. And I will get to 100 per cent, and the few mistakes I will try to reduce.”

Drogba says it is would have been unthinkable for Chelsea to fail to reach the last 16.

He praised his team-mates for digging themselves out of a situation that saw them facing what boss Andre Villas-Boas had described as the unthinkable prospect of Europa League football.

Drogba added: “There was some pressure, but I think we did the job. It was impossible for the club not to be in the Champions League. So we - the players - were responsible for that. There was pressure, but it was good pressure.”
