AFC Wimbledon star Andy Frampton stepped up his recovery from an ankle injury in this afternoon's development game with Leyton Orient.

The Dons defender is yet to appear this campaign after suffering a broken ankle in a freak training ground accident during a pre-season trip to La Manga.

However, Frampton is back in training and travelled with the squad up to Cumbria for Saturday's eight-goal thriller against Carlisle.

And the 35-year-old enjoyed a run out for the U21s against the O's in the Final Third Development League opener at Brisbane Road, playing 69 minutes of a 2-2 draw.

Ade Azeez, who bagged a dramatic equaliser at Brunton Park, and Kevin Sainte-Luce were also due to feature.
