Diego Costa WILL start for Chelsea against Manchester City on Sunday.

Costa is the club’s top scorer this season after banging in seven goals already in the Blues shirt.

He has been struggling with a hamstring problem and was had to settle for a place on the bench for Chelsea’s midweek Champions League stalemate with Schalke.

Jose Mourinho has no fresh injury worries ahead of the trip to the Etihad and confirmed his star striker will play against the champions.

Raring to go: Diego Costa will play against City

“Everybody is ready to play,” Mourinho confirmed.

“Diego is not in the best condition but he will start the game.

"If he plays he won't play against Bolton."

Costa has become Chelsea’s main goal threat up front this season and his emergence as the club’s leading striker has seen Fernando Torres leave for AC Milan.
