The Cottagers have lacked an attacking threat so far this season and that was evident again in Friday night's defeat, very rarely threatening the Wolves goal and only registering a couple of tame shots on target.
Fulham seem to be trying to work the ball into the six yard box in order to have a strike at goal, but Odoi, who was played at centre back in the defeat and did well, reckons it's time they started shooting from further out without caring how the ball goes in - so long as it does.
He said: "I think it’s a concern, also I don’t know what we want to do, we’re going to play like Barcelona and kick the ball in the goal from one metre out?
"We need to shoot from outside the 18, we shouldn’t care if it takes one or two deflections, a goal is a goal and sometimes we just keep waiting for the perfect opportunity to shoot at goal, but they aren’t going to come that often so you just need to have a go and I don’t think we do that enough.
"In general, the play last year we were in a higher level than this season, we were much more dangerous attacking wise and we need to think how come and it’s for all the club, technical staff, players, everybody to think about it and get that problem fixed."
Conceding goals has also been a problem - Fulham haven't kept a clean sheet since the 2-0 win over Ipswich Town in August, and he says they need to cut out leaking goals if they want to have a chance at winning games.
He added: "We’ve been conceding too many goals and we haven’t caused any real danger, if you look at the game, in the first half they had no real chances except for the set pieces.
"Championship set pieces are an important part of the league and we need to be sharper on set pieces.
"In the play, they weren’t really better than us in the first half but then you’re 2-0 down and it’s so hard.
"If you look at other games, Preston we were 2-0 down and we need to work twice as hard to get back and we’ve been lucky against Preston and Bolton to get the draw but we can’t always be that lucky and it showed against Bristol and against Wolves."
