Shaleum Logan admits he has to bide his time to win his place back in Brentford's starting XI.

The Bees defender has been a regular since his move to Griffin Park from Manchester City in 2011, playing almost 100 games.

However, the 25-year-old has recently lost his spot to Alan McCormack, but made a brief cameo off the bench in Saturday's win at Notts County.

And the former Manchester City youngster hopes to regain his place at right-back.

"I've got to bide my time," he said. "It's a team game and as long as they are doing well I'm happy.

"I have to keep my head down and carry on working hard and take my chance when I get it.

"I'm always going to be disappointed when I don't play, but the team has been doing really well, so there's no bad feelings.

"If we carry on winning and get promoted everyone's happy."
