Brentford have no new injury concerns for their trip to Brighton on Saturday, while Alan McCormack could return to the squad.

The Irishman has been out of action in recent weeks but has been back in full training during the international break.

Yoann Barbet will step up his recovery from an ankle injury by playing for the Brentford B side against Liverpool tonight.

Dean Smith said: “Alan McCormack is fully training. Yoann is going to play for the B team. With the exception of Tom Field, who is feeling his groin slightly, we're fully fit.”

Ryan Woods, Nico Yennaris and Lewis Macleod all had niggles before the international break but all three of them are available on Saturday.

“Woodsy felt his thigh in the last game against Sheffield Wednesday and Nico had a bit of a hip problem,” Smith added.

“Lewis is fine. He picked up a niggle during the Sheffield Wednesday game. He's fine and has trained ever since.”

New Bee: Rico Henry

New signing Rico Henry will miss the game after suffering a dislocated shoulder while at Walsall and a decision has yet to be taken whether the highly-talented full back will have surgery on it.

Smith explained: “He first did the injury when I had him at Walsall and unfortunately for him his shoulder popped out and he missed the Wembley game.

“He rehabbed it and there was talk about having the operation. Everyone felt if he did the rehab he'd be okay but it popped out again this season.

“It's a worry so we've had specialists opinions on it and they're deciding on the best direction for him.

“The decision to operate will be between Rico's family and the medical staff here and if he has it done I hope it's sooner rather than later. He's one who has signed for the future.”

Lasse Vibe misses the game through suspension but it has given the Dane a chance to recover from a groin injury.

Smith revealed: “Lasse has been feeling his groin slightly so hasn't trained with us. It's given him time to get it sorted and he'll be ready for the Villa game.”
