DAVID Luiz will definitely not be heading for Barcelona, or anywhere else, Jose Mourinho says.

The Chelsea boss says the Brazilian (pictured) is unlikely to be the kind of player to stay for seven or eight years, and that they plan is to make the most of him now rather than simply cash in.

“This club did fantastic work to get into a position where the club is in perfect conditions to say we don’t want to sell this player.

“David is one of these players that the club made a huge investment over. He’s not here for seven, eight, nine, 10 years, he's here just for a couple of years.

“He's a very young player that signed a new contract last year. When he signed he was very happy to do it, so we want to keep him.

“We understand that a big club like Barcelona want the best and try to get one of the best defenders in the world. But we are being very honest alo by saying that there is no chance that David Luiz is leaving.”
