Nico Yennaris and his Brentford team-mates will be back in pre-season training before July, the midfielder has revealed.
Five-and-a-half weeks on since the end of last season, the players have been taking a well earned rest and jetting out on their holidays.
But in 12 days' time, the Bees squad will return to the training ground for initial testing and light jogging before the hard grind starts.
Yennaris has just signed a new deal at Griffin Park and is excited about helping the club kick on further in the Championship.
And on a personal level, he's a lot happier at the club after a rocky start to life as a Bee.
"You look around the squad and there's only a handful," he said, speaking to the official club website.
"It's nice to be one of them, at such a young age as well I think that carries a good experience and hopefully we can use that next season.
"I think we saw last season, against some of the top teams, how well we played. I think that gives us great confidence going into next season.
"We know that we can beat anyone and perform against some of the bigger teams.
"It wasn't always the easiest start for me here. We've turned that around now and to be able to play in every game is obviously a good acheivement for me and I'll be looking to do that next season."
"We go back in on the 26th and that's when the real work starts."
The likes of Sunderland, Middlesbrough and Hull City have dropped down into the Championship, and Yennaris is looking forward to playing them.
"There's a couple of teams that I have never been to their stadiums or played against them, so it'll be exciting times against them," he said.
