QPR’s temporary management team has called on players to put pressure to one side and do their jobs against Southampton today.
Chris Ramsey has sympathy with a squad under the threat of relegation, but demands everyone gets their heads down against Saints.
Ex-defender Ramsey, who along with coach Kevin Bond and newly appointed director of football, Les Ferdinand, will pick the side, insists things will only improve when mistakes are cut out.
He said: “We have to be mindful we’re a small club without the resources of buying £20m players to do a job at the attacking end.
“What we’re looking for are players to do their jobs. But when things aren’t going well, they make sloppy mistakes they wouldn’t do normally.
"When situations aren’t going right – concentration wanes.”
