Brentford winger Sullay Kaikai knows he is likely to come in for some abuse from the Brighton supporters due to his Crystal Palace connections.

The Bees signed the highly-rated winger from the Eagles on a season long loan on transfer deadline day.

And he could make his debut at the Amex Stadium, home to the most hated rivals of Crystal Palace, meaning he is bound to be the pantomime villain.

“I am looking forward to the trip on Saturday. I am probably going to get a bit of stick but I am looking forward to playing games,” he said.

“I have had a few tweets in from Palace fans saying that they hope I do well and that I score.”

Kaikai, though, has not experienced playing in games against Brighton during his time at Palace, even at development level, but he does recall the Eagles beating the Seagulls in the 2013 play-off semi finals.

He added: “I've not played against Brighton at youth level – I was on loan at the time. I remember the play-off games between them. Everyone was buzzing and it was a great achievement.”
