QPR keeper Rob Green has been sent for a scan after suffering a suspected rib injury during this afternoon's win against Yeovil.

The 34-year-old was forced off midway through the second half at Loftus Road, with his replacement Brian Murphy making his league debut between the sticks.

Green is likely to miss Tuesday's game with Sheffield Wednesday and will undergo a scan to assess the full extent of the damage.

Armand Traore and Jermaine Jenas also suffered hamstring injuries which should see them sidelined for the trip to Hillsborough at least.

Assistant manager Kevin Bond said: “We’ve taken a few knocks today, which is obviously a concern, but overall it has been a good day for us.

“Rob got a whack on his chest, Ravel [Morrison] was feeling his groin, JJ had to come off and Traore. We’re going to have to assess them and hope they’ll be okay.”
