Tony Craig insists he's loving life at Brentford as the skipper edges closer to a new deal.

The defender has clocked up more than 100 appearances for the Bees since his move from Millwall two years ago, but is out of contract next summer.

Brentford boss Mark Warburton is keen to keep hold of his captain, who has been offered fresh terms to remain in west London.

"I have absolutely loved my time here," said Craig. "The club is going in the right direction.

"There's been such a big transformation on and off the pitch and there's been no broken promises from when I signed.

"There's a great bunch of lads and it's a good to come into work with a smile on my face."
