Chelsea have all week to prepare for the mighty Manchester United - after they hopefully deal with Leicester City in tomorrow's lunchtime clash.

Unlike the other two, Blues don't have the added aggro of mixing Premier League with Europe midweek after a lack-lustre 2015-16 where they finished a disappointing 10th.

Claudio Ranieri's Foxes entertain FC Copenhagen in the Champions League on Tuesday, and Jose Mourinho's outfit have to play Fenerbahçe in the Europa League on Thursday - just four days ahead of the Sunday teatime treat at Stamford Bridge.

Europeans: Leicester City and Ranieri

But the Blues boss Antonio Conte would take your hand off for a tricky week demanded of the Premier League's European teams.

"When you have a week you have more time to improve," he said. "But it's important for a club to play the Champions League.

"Leicester won the title last season and are playing a good Champions League, and Manchester United is a great challenge - but we must think about ourselves and not the other team."

The Italian Blues master was only too happy for the man in the opposite dugout tomorrow when Leicester won the title last season, rubber stamped by a Chelsea win over Tottenham.

In fact, Conte described former Blues boss Ranieri as something of a 'mentor.'

He added: "I was a happy for him, but not only me - for Italy it was a great celebration, and he deserved it. It's always a pleasure to talk with him. He's a good man and a good manager."
