QPR fans can expect some real banter when former Wycombe Wanderers employee turned comedian Henning Wehn takes over the Chairboys Twitter account for tomorrow night’s friendly.

The German funnyman, who worked in sales and marketing for the Blues in the late 1990s, has continued his affiliation with the club over the years while garnering a successful comedy career.

The game will be the Hoops’ fourth pre-season friendly after they drew 1-1 with Northampton Town on Tuesday, and was arranged as part of goalkeeper Matt Ingram’s deal when he joined from Wycombe in January.

Ingram will come face to face with his former QPR team mate Michael Harriman, who developed through the youth system at Loftus Road before ending his lengthy spell there after signing a permanent deal with Wycombe.

Harriman said: “It will be a bit weird for me because whenever I’ve played in a QPR match I’ve always played for them, so the first time being on the other side will be a special occasion!

“You always like to see players doing well and Matty worked hard for Wycombe, so he deserved his chance and he’s taken it. I’m pleased for him and it’ll be nice to see him.”

The Rs won their first pre-season game against Aldershot Town 3-2, before heading out to Holland to draw with PSV Eindhoven 1-1, before suffering a 3-1 defeat against FC Groningen.

Jimmy Floyd Hasselbaink’s side still have matches against Burton Albion and Watford to ensure they are prepared before their first game of the Championship season against Leeds at home.

Wehn will give his unique and witty insights, along with some tactical analysis, via the @wwfcofficial Twitter account and using the hashtags #WYCvQPR and #HenningTakeover
