The Premier League is off and running but Chelsea fans have had to wait for their first glimpse of their new-look team in action.

Antonio Conte will take charge of his first competitive Blues game this evening at Stamford Bridge when West Ham United come to town.

Manchester United, Manchester City and Liverpool all laid down markers in their opening matches while defending champions Leicester failed to impress.

Conte will be looking to make a statement with his first performance and all eyes will be on the Blues dugout as supporters hope for more touchline antics from the Italian.

He won the hearts of the world with his passionate displays with his country at Euro 2016 and is expected to replicate that enthusiasm with his new club.

Here’s everything you need to know ahead of Conte’s Premier League debut against Slaven Bilic’s Hammers.

What the managers say

New boss: Head coach Antonio Conte of Chelsea looks on

Conte: “I am not very relaxed. When you start a new season, it is a fantastic experience because for me this is the first time I have managed a new team in a new league in a new country.

“It is a fantastic challenge for me. For this reason I am not that relaxed. I know we have to do a lot of work to improve but we have started and I am very happy to start.”

Bilic: “I will look forward to meeting Chelsea and Antonio Conte on Monday. Antonio comes from a different football culture, a different mentality and, from my experience last season, it is not easy when you move to a new country.”
