Chelsea landed safely in Los Angeles last night as they begin their pre-season tour of the United States.

Antonio Conte will preside over three friendly fixtures across the pond as part of the International Champions Cup being played worldwide this summer.

Conte and his new-look backroom team have taken a travelling party of 30 players for the games and held a light training session at the UCLA campus.

N’Golo Kante is yet to link up with his new Blues team-mates after being granted a slightly extended break due to his involvement in the Euro 2016 final with France.

Stalwart John Obi Mikel is also missing from the group as he prepares for the Olympic Games with Nigeria.

Eden Hazard is perhaps the biggest name to be joining up with the group this week after his leave of absence due to his commitments with Belgium at the Euros.

Youngsters like Fikayo Tomori, Ola Aina, Matt Miazga and Michael Hector will all be looking to impress while Juan Cuadrado still needs to prove his worth to the side.

Papy Djilobodji, Dominic Solanke, Marco van Ginkel, Lucas Piazon and Christian Atsu were among those omitted from the squad as loan experience beckons elsewhere.

Chelsea will kick-off their American adventure by playing Jurgen Klopp’s Liverpool at Pasadena’s Rose Bowl on Wednesday.

Conte’s team will then face Real Madrid in Michigan on Saturday afternoon before playing AC Milan in Minneapolis on August 3.

One further date has been added to Chelsea’s pre-season schedule with a match at Werder Bremen’s Weserstadion to follow on August 7 in Germany.
