Lucas Piazon still wants to make it at Chelsea but is growing tired of being shifted around on loan.

The Blues have an army of footballers plying their trade away from Stamford Bridge and Piazon was one of seven players to move on deadline day.

That took the number of Chelsea starlets out on loan to a staggering 38 as Antonio Conte’s backroom team try to keep track of their army of talents.

Piazon’s Fulham loan is the fifth such temporary switch for the Brazilian since joining the west Londoners four years ago.

He has moved to Craven Cottage until January, with the option to extend the deal until the end of the season, and is happy to be joining a club in good form.

By the end of the current campaign he will have just one year left on his Chelsea contract and has hinted he could move on if no long-term plans are in place for his future.

Piazon is craving some stability and wants to stick around at one club for the first time since moving to England and sees the Cottagers loan as a chance to prove his worth.

“They have started the season well,” Piazon told the Daily Mail of his move to Fulham. “Then I have to stay for more than one year at a club who can see me as their player and not a player from Chelsea who will one day go back to Chelsea.

“I have to find a club I can call home. One, two, three loans, maybe that's enough. It's time for me to stay somewhere more than one year. When they know you'll stay whatever happens, people look at you with different eyes.

“If I had the chance to go for more than one season I'd do it. It makes no sense to go on loan all the time. It is not good for any player in my experience — or the experience of the other boys. I don't see it as a positive thing any more. To be in a different place every year is not good for me at 22.

“I still want to make it at Chelsea, of course,' he said. 'I came to Europe to play for Chelsea and want to do it. Maybe I can come back in the future. If that's not possible I want to go somewhere and stay for more than one season. Not just stay stuck in the club.”
