Eden Hazard is an out-of-this-world talent, comparable only with the likes of Lionel Messi and Cristiano Ronaldo according to team-mate Branislav Ivanovic.
Chelsea extended their Premier League lead to 10 points thanks to the genius of the Belgian, whose winning goal against Manchester United was his 18th of the season in all competitions.
The strike, Chelsea's one moment of brilliance in a defensive match that saw them hand United almost three quarters of the possession, leaves the Blues potentially two victories from glory, especially if they overcome Arsenal next Sunday.
Speaking of his team mate, Ivanovic said: “He makes the difference, he is the one who is so important to us in every game.
"He gets lot of kicks all the time but he never complains and works so hard and is improving massively.
"He has been our most important player since day one and we have been top of the table since the start of the season.
"It is not over but in my opinion it is the best season of his career and he is flying."
Asked if he was up there with La Liga superstars Messi and Ronaldo, Ivanovic said: “He is the same, because I see him in training every game and have played lots of games with him.
"For me he is the guy who you just have to give the ball and he will do everything. Sometimes he looks so impressive, like he is not from this world."
Hazard is now odds-on favourite to be both the PFA and Football Writers player of the year, while wins for Chelsea over Arsenal and Leicester in their next two games will make them champions.
