Lucas Piazon hopes to be back training with the Fulham first team before Christmas.
The Chelsea loan man suffered a horrific leg break during the 0-0 draw with Leeds United last month.
The forward had started the season in good form for the Whites, scoring in the Carabao Cup win over Wycombe Wanderers and the 1-1 draw away at Reading.
But he broke his fibula when he was on the wrong end of a tackle from Leeds' Conor Shaughnessy and looked set for a lengthy spell on the sidelines.
The 23-year-old Brazilian has been undergoing treatment with parent club Chelsea, but was back at Craven Cottage for the club's photoshoot yesterday.
And fellow injured team-mate Tom Cairney was put in charge of the Whites' Snapchat account for the day offering fans a glimpse behind the scenes.
And Piazon was asked by Cairney to give an injury update.
Piazon says: "Five weeks," to which Cairney replies: "What until you're back?"
The Brazilian was clearly referring to how long he had been out already and continued: "Until I'm back? Ten weeks maybe. Ten weeks until I'm back."
