Chelsea fans will learn which of their early Premier League fixtures have been chosen for Sky Sports or BT Sport coverage “within the next month”.

Sky Sports will show 126 Premier League matches live next season, as well as offering exclusive mobile clips from all 380 top-flight matches between August and May 2017.

Meanwhile BT Sport have won live rights to 42 Premier League matches next season - and most will be broadcast on a Saturday evening.

2015 champions Chelsea will be shown live on either Sky Sports or BT Sport at least five times during the 2016/17 campaign, and the first of those will be announced in the coming weeks.

A Sky Sports spokesman confirmed that the first batch of televised matches will be released “in early July, around three or four weeks after the Premier League fixtures have been released”.

The Premier League confirmed that clubs should learn which of their early Premier League fixtures will be televised “in the first week of July”, with a second batch of TV games to be announced “a couple of weeks after that."

It is likely that the Blues will have a number of fixtures moved for television so the current fixture list should be taken as a guide only.
