John Terry says at least one of Chelsea’s former strikers will have a point to prove when they come face-to-face at Everton on Saturday.

Terry and his team-mates will meet ex-Blues Romelu Lukaku and Samuel Eto’o in the late Premier League match at Goodison Park.

Lukaku made a permanent move to the Toffees this summer seeking the first team football he could never be guaranteed at Stamford Bridge, and Terry says his former team mate will be out to settle scores in the match.

“We’ve struggled away to Everton in the last couple of years,” said Terry.

“With that in mind we know it’s going to be tough.

“Obviously big Rom (Lukaku) will be up front as well, with a point to prove – him being sold from the club.

“And they are going to be up for it. They always believe they can turn us over at home.

“It’s a big test for us, but we go there with a one-game-at-a-time mentality, and try and move on from there.”

This week Lukaku was joined at Roberto Martinez’s side by Eto’o – who became a bit of a cult hero during his year at Chelsea – and he too will be aiming to get one over on Blues boss Jose Mourinho.
