Chelsea have confirmed that John Terry will miss Friday's match against Liverpool through injury.
The captain was seen limping at the end of the 2-2 draw against Swansea after picking up a problem with his foot in the closing stages of the match.
Today, the club confirmed that Terry had strained ligaments in his foot - which would rule the 35-year-old out for up to 10 days.
That means Antonio Conte will be without his captain for at least the visit of Liverpool to Stamford Bridge on Friday night with David Luiz set to come in for his second ebut.
Terry could also miss Chelsea's EFL Cup fixture away to Leicester City on 20th September.
However, the defender would hope to be back in action in time for his side's visit to Arsenal the following Saturday.
