Jose Mourinho says there is no way he will abandon Chelsea if Man United come running.

United cut their losses with David Moyes this week and inevitably Mourinho's name is in the frame as a possible replacement.

The Portuguese was considered a front-runner when Sir Alex Ferguson departed in the summer and would surely have got the call had the exiting Scot backed him as a successor.

But asked whether there was any chance of making the switch now, Mourinho said: “Of course not. I’m ruling that out completely.

“I left Real Madrid to come to Chelsea and I signed a four-year contract with Chelsea.

"I told Chelsea that they never have to worry about me because I don’t want to leave and I'll stay for as long as the club wants me.”
