RAFA Benitez has no interest in signing David Beckham for Chelsea, the Blues boss has revealed.
Beckham has stated he wants one final bite at the Champions League cherry after playing his last game for Los Anegles Galaxy in the Major League Soccer last night.
But Benitez believes a move back to the Premiership may be beyond the legs of the 37 year old former England captain.
He said: “I have been watching some games in the MLS and David Beckham has been doing well over there, and his delivery and crosses are still very good.
“But the pave of the game over here now is much higher. He has the feet, but I'm not sure he can cope with the pace any more.”
