Charlie MacDonald admits he's not one for showing off his Brentford souvenirs in display cases.

The Brentford striker notched his first senior hat-trick in Brentford's 3-0 win over Chester City on Saturday.

But he won't be scouring the DIY stores for a nice cabinet to put the match-ball in just yet.

MacDonald said: "I'm going to give it to my little boy. He'll probably be kicking it around the living room or something.

"He'll be delighted. I'll have to let him watch the Championship to see the goals."

See this Thursday's Chronicle for more from MacDonald and strike-partner Nathan Elder on his return to action with the Bees.
