QPR will open the 2017-18 Championship season with a home game against play-off finalists Reading.

The game, which is scheduled for August 5, will no doubt be a tough test against Jaap Stam's side who were defeated on penalties on the Wembley showpiece event.

This will be followed up by games with Sheffield Wednesday (away), Norwich City (away), Hull City (home) and Cardiff City (away) which all fall in August.

The Hoops' home game against Fulham is set for September 30, while the match at Craven Cottage is scheduled for March 17.

Other notable dates include Brentford's trip to Loftus Road on November 25, with the away fixture scheduled for April 21.

Ian Holloway's first match against former club Millwall is set for a Tuesday night, as Neil Harris' side travel to Loftus Road on September 12, before QPR travel to the Den on December 30.

The Hoops' Boxing Day fixture will be away at Ipswich Town, while the final game of the season is Leeds United (away) on May 6.
