The 2017/18 Championship line-up is complete after Huddersfield triumphed in the play-off final at Wembley, meaning Reading complete the list of clubs in the division.

The Wembley finals end the domestic campaign but, for many fans, attention has already moved onto August and the new campaign.

Sunderland, Middlesbrough and Hull join the division after their relegation from the Premier League, while Sheffield United, Bolton and Millwall earned promotion from League One.

So, to make things easier, we have provided a list of dates for the diary.

When are the Championship fixtures released?

Fixture release day is always the first sign that the new season is looming, and this year the Championship fixtures - along with those for League One and League Two - will be revealed on Wednesday, June 21 at 9am, which can be found on GetWestLondon.

When do we find out which Championship games are televised, and when?

Last summer, the first round of fixtures televised were included when they were released. Fulham kicked off the season against Newcastle on a Friday evening with QPR taking on Leeds on the Sunday.

August's remaining fixtures were announced soon after, allowing fans the maximum possible time to plan their early campaign.

When are the west London sides back in training?

Most squads are due back at the end of June. Some players involved in international duty may be given a few extra days of holiday.

When do the pre-season fixtures start?

Not all fixtures have been announced at this point but friendlies will begin in the first week in July.

When does the Championship season kick-off?

The season is due to get under way the weekend of August 4-7, with the bulk of the games on Saturday the 5th, but with some moved to the Friday and the Sunday for TV purposes.

When will west London sides begin their Carabao Cup campaign?

The what? Yes, the Carabao Cup. Or the Football League Cup, as it is properly known. Brentford, QPR and Fulham will enter the competition at the first-round stage, which means their tie will take place in the first midweek of the season - the week commencing August 7.

When does the summer transfer window open?

The summer transfer window officially opens on Saturday, July 1, but that does not mean that clubs and agents have not been working on deals during the close-season, ready for the paperwork to be rubber-stamped at the beginning of July.

When does the summer transfer window close?

Deadline day is Thursday, August 31, and the window closes at 11pm.
