Cesar Azpilicueta is adamant Chelsea will not allow the international break to derail their Premier League title march.

The Blues are taking a week off from their unbeaten domestic campaign as the majority of the squad head off to represent their country.

But with winning momentum being all-important a successful title assault, the Spanish full-back says this little interruption will not stand in their way.

Celebrations: Chelsea at Anfield

“I am used to going with the national team and coming back,” said Azpilicueta.

“Now we have some players who have qualification games, friendlies. But we know that when we come back the national team is over and we focus on the team [Chelsea].”

Cesc Fabregas has already been ruled out of Spain's double-header against Belarus and Germany after Jose Mourinho revealed he gambled on playing the midfielder injured in Chelsea's 2-1 win over Liverpool at Anfield at the weekend.
