CEDARS Manor Girls' football team celebrated winning their second successive Harrow Girls 11-aside Football League after another impressive and undefeated season.
They managed five wins out of five, scoring the most goals (25) and conceding the fewest (four). En route to their title triumph they notched up victories over Weald (6-1), Grange (8-0), Elmgrove (3-2),
Stanburn (3-1) and Marlborough (5-0). Cedars Manor are now unbeaten in 15 consecutive matches, stretching back over three seasons.
Coach and PE coordinator Adam Coleman said: "Winning the league again is a well deserved reward for the girls' exemplary effort in every training session and during every match.
"They have improved so much and become a skilful, organised, brave and tactically aware team. Our tackling, counter-attacking and corner routines have particularly impressed me.
"All of the girls have exhibited fair play and positivity and they should be proud to be champions."
The victorious Cedars squad are: Amira Rahmoune, Molly Devine, Sara Firminger, Chyane Bell, Sara Karaj, Kelly Watts, Leigh Flynn, Gentiana Kashtanjevci, Rachel Winny, Amy Howell, Rochelle Mills, Faryal Ibersiene and Rebecca Thoburn Pallant (captain).
