Cardiff City manager Neil Warnock has hailed the QPR fans, saying that he expects the Hoops to have strong support when they travel to the Welsh capital.

Speaking in his pre-match press conference, the former QPR boss also hailed current boss Ian Holloway, praising his experience in the Championship.

He said: "We all realise how difficult a game it is. They did ever so well up at Sheffield Wednesday and they've had a decent start so it's going to be a tough game.

"They've got some good players, some of the lads are still there from when i was there and they'll get a good backing.

"It'll be nice to see one or two faces but we'll be focused on trying to get a good result ourselves.

"I've spoken to Ian over many years, when i can understand him! He's a good character."
