Subs Craig Noone came off the bench to break Fulham's hearts with a late equaliser for Cardiff City this afternoon.

Thrown on 14 minutes from time at the Cardiff City Stadium, and within nine minutes had conjured up a spectacular leveller which rocketed into the top corner.

It was harsh on a Fulham side who had led since a minute after the break, when Matt Smith got to the rebound before Simon Moore to head home after the Cardiff keeper had fumbled Ben Pringle's 40-yard free-kick.

Smith's crisp: Matt Smith had earlier opened the scoring for Fulham

Smith had earlier hit the post for Fulham after challenging Moore, while the hosts also hit the woodwork just before Fulham took the lead, Jamie O'Hara deflecting the ball onto his own crossbar in blocking a shot from Alex Revell.

Although it is a good point for Whites boss Kit Symons to take back to west London, he will be disappointed his side couldn't hold on for a few more minutes and take all three.
